Manaus, Brazil
Second Grade 2009-2010 Thank you so much for encouraging and inspiring me to apply for the TCS Travel Grant. I went to Brazil at the end of the summer. I had the best time ever. My journey began in Manaus in the Rain Forest and ended on the sandy beaches of Rio de Janerio. I saw many exotic plants and animals and the food was absolutely delicious. I hope that you all had a great summer and that your 2010-2011 school year is off to a great start.

ReplyDeleteThis is Lorielle's dad and I am writing from Vietnam to say hello. I have been staying in Ho Chi Minh City, which was previously called Saigon. An interesting fact about this city is that most people travel on motor bikes instead of cars. In fact, there are so many motor bikes that it is difficult to drive a regular car on the roads.
