Meet Serena the Snow Girl...

Meet Serena the SnowGirl. She was created today by my dear friend Donna  J. and her daughters.  How did you spend your day today? You have another snow day, Tuesday, January 11.  Please write about how you will spend your time at home on the snow day.  Will you read books? Bake? Go out and make snow angels? Have a snow ball fight with your family? Play wii games?  Please tell us how you will spend your time.  Email a few pictures if you have time.  We would love to see your snow creations!  Stay warm and drink lots of hot coco!

    I had a snowball fight with Cate and my family. We also went sleding down a big hill at Callanwolde. We built a huge igloo that we can go in. When we where sleding we went down on boogie boards and cardboard.

    I went outside to play in the snow. I also played a little bit of wii and I went on Aplusmath.com. Sarah

    Sage that sounds like a lot of fun. Do your pets like to go outside when it is cold and snowy? Who won the snowball fight? I bet you and Eve are really tough to beat! Have fun and I look forward to reading more of your comments!

    Sarah what is your favorite wii Game? As soon as I can get out I am buying wii Dance 2. I tried to buy it Sunday at Target but they were all out. I hope that you and Emma are having a great time.     Yesterday, I played in the snow and went sledding in Piedmont Park with Poppy and my daddy. We took the tops of pet food bins to use as sleds but someone gave us their sled to keep, so we went down the big hill in Piedmont Park a bunch of times on the sled. It was a lot of fun. We also baked chocolate chip cookies at home and ate brownies. -Ruby

    Ruby, that is really cool that someone gave you and your family their sled to keep. I hope that your dad has taken lots of pictures of you and Poppy. What is Tarragon doing while you guys are outside playing in the snow? Please save me some chocolate chip cookies and brownies.

    I played in the snow three times a day. We made a snowman named Bobby. We played Wii games, slid on the ice on the streets, and read a lot of good books.

    Hi Tammy, Whisky, Finny and Fern love the snow, but Walter does't like to get his feet wet. In the snowball fight we had two teams. The teams were named after the clans in Warriors. Eve, Cate and I were called the Thunder Clan. Mom and Bruce were called the Wind Clan. We won the fight. Bruce made big snowballs.It was fun.

    Tammy, I love the new animoto with snow pictures! Tarekegn stayed inside the first snow day and watched us play outside, but yesterday, we bundled him up and all went for a long walk around the neighborhood. We had more snowball fights, and Tarekegn thought that was funny. -Ruby

    Like Ruby, I went down the big hill at Piedmont park on my sled. I saw my friend Audrey there (she's in the other class) and we played together for a while. I had a little party for my brothers birthday on wednesday. My dogs love the snow! They play in it every times we put them outside. They get piled up with snow and they have so much fun. Ive had lots of hot chocolate. And I also put the Piruline cookes in the hot chocolate and drank thru them like it was a straw. We have lots of hills in our front yard and we had so much fun going down them with our sleds and there were lots of bumps in our front yard and it was fun. ps Tammy, we made lots of pictures and my dad will send them to you very soon!

    Second Grade thanks so much for blogging during Snow Storm 2011! I have really enjoyed reading all of your comments and looking at your pictures.

    Luca, I loved your post... It looks like someone (you)really missed daily journal writing time. Hats off to you and your classmates for such great entries!

    Over the break I went sledding on three different hills. On the third hill we had a race with my friend Lily and her sisters, Lily is 10 Kiki is 8 and Birdy is 5. We had so much fun!
