Summer Travel

I am 1,087 miles away from home; almost 19 hours by car. Thank goodness a direct flight home is only 2 and half hours! Write about your summer travels. With your parent's permission go onto Google Maps and tell us how may miles you traveled away from home. Did you travel by train, plane, or automobile?

I traveled 438 miles to Orlando Florida with my family. I traveled by plane. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get there. If I traveled by car it would take 7 hours.

I traveled 260 miles to Destin,Florida with my mom,and sister. When we got to Destin we met my dad,brother,and my dads parents. I traveled by car.It took 6 and a half hours.We left at 12:00,and arrived at 6:30.

I went 2000 miles to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, we flew by plane it was 4 to 5 hours long. We left at 12:00 and arrived at 4:30. All of my family went and we had a great time. It was not a direct flight we took a connection in Minneapolis and then flew to Spokane, Washington. Then we drove to Coeur d'Alene.
