Atlanta has elected Kasim Reed as the 59th Mayor of Atlanta. Senator Reed will begin his new job January 4,2010. If you were the new Mayor which city task would you take on first? Why do you think that task is so important?

A mayor does many things for the city. If I were
ReplyDeletemayor I would put out recycling signs and "no littering" sings everywhere. I would sign lots of contracts for good things to happen.

A mayor is in charge of making many of the decisions in a city. He/she can help with recreation. Such as parks, libraries, post offices, etc. They also help with fire departments and police.
I'd check the city fist to make sure dose not have any pot-holes.AG&MM
