I like celebrating black history month because I learn a lot about African Americans.
ReplyDeleteI was so excited when my mom came in to read to our class. She read Henry's Freedom Box.This book was about a boy that was taken away from his mom when he was a little. He got married and they had one or two children. Henry's family was sold at the trade market Henry wanted to be free so Henry came up with a reason to miss work and some people that were against slavery put him in a box and mailed him to Philadelphia. In Philadelphia he was free. Ryan F.
ReplyDeleteI liked Black History Month because everybody had fantastic books and the pictures were awesome. I liked the books Step Stomp Stride, I also liked the book that Eve's Mom read.
